Burn (x2)

The other day a bunch of us went to Hillsong, which was a very interesting cultural experience, which I may go into later, but am not quite feeling up to now, but I thought I'd tell you what happened on the way home from Hills. On King Georges Road I got a flat tyre - managed to drive into Broad Arrow Road and into a servo. Now I've never had to change a tyre before, and i'm not one of those types who has ever just taken one off because I like to see. Bojan was with me, and though he does like pulling things apart and putting them back together, cars aren't one of things that he does that with. So with both me and my boyfriend totally useless at knowing what to do (well, I guess I could have figured it out, but I didn't want to exasserbate the problem instead...) I did what every girl with a mobile phone would do and I called my daddy :-)

So dad, and my dad's friend came to teach me how to change a tyre, which I am very confident that I can do again now, and I won't ever need to call my dad for help. But it was all very funny - these three guys standing around watching the girl in a skirt change the tyre. Now this was on a particularly hot day - and already getting some sun while waiting for dad and gary to arrive, and also outside Hillsong, plus being in the sun the whole time while changing the tyre - I got a little sun-burnt, so this was my first burn for the day. The second, blamed even more on the car than the first burn was on my fingers - from the nuts to screw on the tyre. They were so hot that when I picked them put to put them back onto the car I burned my thumb and finger - it blistered and everything! not cool

So anyway - the moral of the story
1. Wear sunscreen
2. Don't touch hot nuts
