So the day getting back from NZ went something like this
3.30am (NZ time) - wake up get ready to leave
4am - leave the house with mum
5am - arrive at Christchurch airport
6.40 - plane leaves Christchurch airport
8.30(ish)am - Australia time, Arrive Sydney airport
9.30 - Finally get out at the airport and see dad after waiting on the runway for ages... come home etc...
11am - meet up with Ronald & Emma at Sally's house to get ready to drive out Richmond way to pick up the MYC-ers
11.30am - after much driving around Oatley and stuffing around and snack-buying - leave Oatley
12.45pm - arrive at MYC campsite, catch the very end of one of the sessions of 'gong people - don't see much, mostly them praying, which is still cool!
1pm - Finally get to hug Bojan again after being away - he's so cute, the way he stumbled through the chairs to get out instead of walking around them like everyone else! - Partake in lunch there with them, but just have cordial as it wasn't my lunch to have. Run in to a bunch of random friends & old aquaintences which is nice & hear all about MYC
1.30pm - Pack up the car and head off home with the full car & me in the Boj's arms, making Emma all 3rd wheel like in the car. Ron driving and Sal shotty.
2pm - lunch at that Westy maccas on the M4 somehwere
3pm - get home after some random rooute sal took us via Liverpool to get home. I choose to not comment on directions for the sake of peace in the car, but we got there in the end, so it doesn't really matter.
Some time after that: Go to Thomas's house for a 2 hour therapy session with him.. I think I recall him being all energetic and happy and me being tired and lazy, yet kinda happy too, so that was OK.
Dinner time: Boj came over for dinner & dad joined us too. Dad was ok - trying to do the nice dad thing instead of the threatening dad thing which was interesting to see.
9pm: (by this stage I think anyway): Sal came over and we partook in our ritual of watching Alias episodes & enjoying the fun.
12ish: Send the other home after being extremely tired and probably falling alseep on the couch "Yeah - she must have been pretty tired after all that travel and being up since 3.30 in the morning" I was! except in reality I was up since 1.30 am due to the 2 hour time difference... So off to sleep I went, my plan for recovering from Jet-lag by ignoring it always seems to work! Off to sleep I go, hoping I won't fall asleep at church the next morning!
And that is the day after the previous post... Chronologically next, what I was going to do was post about AnCon, but its just such a massively awesome conference, I don't know if I could do it justice in such a piddly blog post. I may post on it, but chances are I won't... and if I do - it might be after many other different posts. Then there's the snow week away with Sean, Julia, Emma, Mick and Bec - which was equally awesome, but colder, and less conferency. All coming up or not - who knows? Blogging is just sometimes too much effort!
