Sunday

So today is Palm Sunday, and average, yet not so average Sunday for me.

Not so average in that I bothered to get up before 10am, and went to church to share fellowship with the rest of the All Saints family - particularly the 9.30 service (and the last 10 mins of the 8am...). Was cool to see all the kids there thismorning, and as Clive said tonight, to have the band there really made a difference I think for the rest of the congregation who are a bit over the midi machine (at least Sandra B was...), and I met some new people too, and that was awesome - but I feel awful for fogetting their names, but they didn't forget mine coz i was wearing my badge... Anyway, I also made some palm crosses, they were fun to make, and I think/hope people appreciated them too. I'm so thankful that Reuben taught me to make them before he went to be with the Lord.

Came home after chats, mooched with the fam, did a minute amount of uni work amongst a larger amount of procrastination, then went to work. Thomas was good today - I taught him Noah's song, which we sang in the morning - because he had an elephant and a kangaroo - so they could go into the ark. We did the chorus and the actions and stuff, was very cute, but has problems with 'l's so when we did "Rise and shine and give God the glory glory", he sang 'gory gory'... so cute, but kinda wrong.

Back to church to cook dinner for pozza with Ron. Snaps to Ron, the awesome pie sous chef :) who helped me determine the difference between the beef pie, and the cheese and beef pie! (fork marks around the edge for future reference), all sweet, except when I dropped my pie on the floor, but was ok, coz it was my pie.

Then church - which was cool, almost always is, should be anyway to join together as the body of Christ to worship and have fellowship together. Snaps to Tori too, who lead the service fantastically tonight. I'm always impressed by your organisation with the little sheets and the boxes and the highlighting, sweet stuff. Also Tori's enthusiasm for all things Jesus, as well as all things pink-slip-like (ask if you're not from All Saints and need an explanation) is always encouraging to help us remember our saviour.

And now I'm home, giving snaps to people, and not doing uni work! I really should... Good luck to Emma who has her exam in exactly 12 hours from now, and probably won't read this until afterwards anyway, and if you're reading it before - get back to work woman!!! And this is almost the end of an almost unnecescarily long post,

...for those of you still reading - have some hymn!

No condemnation now I dread;
Jesus, and all in him is mine!
Alive in him, my living Head,
and clothed in righteousness divine,
bold I approach the eternal throne,
and claim the crown, through Christ my own.

you know what's funny- when I read I can tell whether it was you or Em who wrote it. Lots of fun. Sorry didn't come online- too tired. The plan was email, blog, sleep. Can't wait 'til tomorrow to catch up!! Seeya!

i can too... coz if Katie wrote it, it says "oatleygirl" down the bottom, and if Emma wrote it it says "-emma-"

you know, even now i know that next time i read what i just wrote it won't be very funny at all.

not entirely sure why i'm persisting with this comment.

I did watch it Tori!!
and like 3 others... I still feel slightly out of the loop - but I get the "Do you know the times" quote and "free puppies, ginger snaps and pocket PC's" quote too... doesn't mean they make more sense, but now they're a little more in context...

For others clarification...
